ACI CEO Todd R. Walsh was recently quoted in CNN Underscored on the importance of having a formal process in place before buying stocks.

“Todd Walsh, CEO and chief technical analyst of Alpha Cubed Investments, said new stock traders hoping to find success need to first put a process in place.
‘It is important to do a financial plan to determine, one, how much of your investment portfolio should be in stocks, and two, what kind of stocks you should own generally (such as) dividend/value stocks or growth stocks – or some combination of the two,’ he said. ‘Once you have figured out how much you want in stocks and the type of stocks to buy, then you have to decide how to get started.'”
